General Terms and Conditions Big Little Secrets

Article 1 – General

  1. These general terms and conditions apply to every visit to the Big Little Secrets website, every membership of the Big Little Secrets community, and every purchase and use of tickets for events organised by Big Little Secrets.
  2. By visiting the website, applying for a membership and/or purchasing a ticket, the visitor declares to have read and agreed to these general terms and conditions.

Article 2 – Private nature & membership

  1. All Big Little Secrets events are private and accessible exclusively to persons who have been pre-approved and are on the guest list.
  2. Entry is only possible under one’s own personal name.
  3. Big Little Secrets reserves the right to refuse membership or entry without stating a reason.
  4. Filling out a registration form does not guarantee admission.
  5. Data from rejected applications is deleted immediately.

Article 3 – Tickets

  1. Tickets can only be purchased via a unique, personal ticket link provided after registering via www.biglittle-secrets.nl.
  2. An e-ticket is personal, tied to a name, and non-transferable.
  3. Tickets are checked against name and identity upon entry.
  4. If the details or photos provided do not match the persons presenting themselves at the entrance, entry may be refused and the membership will be revoked. No refund will be given.

Article 4 – Cancellation and transferring of event tickets

  1. If a visitor is unable to attend the event for which an event ticket was purchased, there is a one-time option to transfer the ticket to a following, comparable Big Little Secrets event.
  2. Transferring an event ticket is free of charge, provided the request is submitted in writing no later than thirty (30) days before the start of the new event, via secrets@biglittle-secrets.nl.
  3. For transfer requests made within thirty (30) days before the start of the new event, an administration and processing fee of €25 per person will be charged.
  4. If you want to transfer a ticket, it can only be transferred to the next available event. After that, the right to any further transfer expires.
  5. If the ticket price of the new event is higher than that of the original ticket, the ticket holder must pay the price difference.
  6. Refunds of ticket fees already paid are not possible.

Article 5 – Hotel tickets & Dinner Dansant

  1. If a visitor is unable to attend the event for which a hotel ticket was purchased, the event ticket will be decoupled from the hotel booking.
  2. The event ticket can be rolled over once to the next event in accordance with Article 4.
  3. The hotel booking remains unchanged and is non-refundable.
  4. Tourist tax is not included with a Sleepover/Hotel ticket. This is settled separately when checking in at the hotel.
  5. Tickets for the Dinner Dansant cannot be rolled over.
  6. A refund may only be possible if ticket insurance was taken out via Your Ticket Provider, subject to that provider’s terms.

Article 6 – Cancellation & notification obligation

  1. Cancellations must be reported by email to secrets@biglittle-secrets.nl no later than 10:00 AM on the day of the event.
  2. For multi-day events, the first day of the event counts as the deadline for notification.
  3. Notifications made after this time result in full forfeiture of the ticket, with no right to roll over or refund.

Article 7 – Conduct, safety and house rules

  1. The minimum age for participation is 21, unless otherwise agreed in writing in advance.
  2. Single men are not permitted.
  3. Drug use and excessive alcohol consumption are not permitted.
  4. Bringing your own drinks or food is not permitted.
  5. Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.
  6. The organisation reserves the right to refuse entry to, or remove, visitors who misbehave, without refund.

Article 8 – Dress code & checks

  1. A specific dress code applies at all events and must be observed.
  2. If the dress code is not met, entry may be refused without refund.
  3. To ensure safety, a superficial check of clothing and bags may take place. Entry may be denied in case of refusal.

Article 9 – Liability

  1. Entering the event is entirely at one’s own risk.
  2. Big Little Secrets is not liable for damage, loss or theft of personal belongings.
  3. Damage to property belonging to the venue or Big Little Secrets will be recovered from the person responsible.

Article 10 – Privacy, photography and discretion

  1. Respect, privacy and discretion are core values of Big Little Secrets.
  2. Photography and filming by visitors is prohibited.
  3. Photos and videos taken by Big Little Secrets may be published in a protected online environment for members.
  4. Members can request the removal of image material; such requests will be honoured.
  5. Unpublished image material is destroyed shortly after the event.

Article 11 – Personal data

  1. Big Little Secrets processes personal data in accordance with applicable GDPR legislation.
  2. Personal data is used exclusively for communication and purposes related to the community and events.
  3. Personal data is not retained longer than necessary.
  4. Access, correction or deletion can be requested via secrets@biglittle-secrets.nl.

Article 12 – Intellectual property

All intellectual property rights relating to the website, events and content of Big Little Secrets belong exclusively to the organisation.
